The U.S. ArmyÕs London area office announced yesterday that two special trains will leave Waterloo Station, London, for the Tidworth reception area on Thursday, January 17, with 711 of the first brides and babies of American troops to leave for the United States. About 108 more dependents living in the Southern Counties will arrive at Salisbury and Andover by local service on the same day. Transport from these stations to Tidworth will be provided.
The entire group, totalling 633 women and 186 children, will sail for the United States on the Argentina which is tentatively due to leave Southampton on Monday, January 21.
